NATURAL HAND RECIPES:  
ALMOND BUTTER HAND TREATMENT

Hand ALMOND BUTTER HAND TREATMENT

1 T. almond oil
1 C. butter

Mix well. Before bed, massage mixture into hands, then cover with white cotton gloves. Wear all night while sleeping.  Will keep in the fridge as long as butter, but mark clearly to avoid eating. pricot Oil-Lanolin Cuticle Cream. 
 

NATURAL HAND RECIPES:
FRESH Strawberry Hand and Foot Exfoliant

Strawberries contain a natural fruit acid which aids in exfoliation.

8-10 Strawberries
2 tablespoons Apricot Oil (you may substitute olive oil)
1 teaspoon of coarse salt, such as Kosher Salt, or Sea Salt

Mix together all ingredients into a paste, massage into hands and feet, rinse, and pat dry.  This recipe can be messy so wear old or protective clothes.


NATURAL HAND RECIPES:
APRICOT OIL-LANOLIN CUTICLE CREAM

1/2 tsp apricot kernel or emu oil
2 tsp lanolin
1 drop essential oil of your choice (optional)

Melt oils together, add essential oil, pour into jar or small pots and let set.  To use, massage into cuticles.

1 T. fuller's earth (a natural clay substance)
1 tsp. olive oil
3 drops lavender essential oil

Mix into a paste and put into a sterile ointment jar or small pot. Massage into nails and cuticles.

1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. vitamin E oil

Combine and massage into nails and cuticles. 


NATURAL HAND RECIPES:  
SPA INDEX LAVENDER HAND AND FOOT WASH


Use this wash to relieve red and inflamed hands and feet.

1/2 cup dried Lavender Flowers
1/2 cup finely chopped Fresh Sage
2 cups of water
8 drops of Lavender Oil

In a saucepan, combine lavender flowers, sage and water. Simmer, covered, on low heat for 20 minutes. Strain mixture through cheesecloth and let cool. Discard the solids, retain the liquid. Add Lavender Oil, shake to emulsify, and then apply to hands and feet with a soft wash cloth or cotton pads. Repeat as necessary, or desired.  So refreshing in summer when your feet are hot, and in winter, when they've been cooped up in boots.



NAIL BRIGHTENER

1 denture tablet
1 cup warm water
1-2 drops essential oil

Saturate one denture tablet with a few drops of essential oil of your choice.  Drop the tablet into a small bowl of warm water.  Soak fingertips 10 minutes. Do not keep mixture.  Discard after use.
