I
can't say it enough that if you want to have healthy skin and look
younger longer, you need to eat healthy. Sure you can eat
some not so great foods every now and then, but a consistent, healthy
diet is essential.
I really don't like the word
diet.It's
such a negative way to look at eating right and taking good care of our
bodies for good health, stress reduction, general well-being and
healthy
skin.
Bad health shows on the outside, so if we want a good means
of anti-aging, it begins with good health.
I'm
really a fan of the Weight Watchers points system because their whole
program is about eating plenty of food in moderation without
the dreaded deprivation of food. I believe that feeling
deprived of food makes us actually eat more. It certainly
doesn't put us in a good mood!
It's
important to keep a good healthy weight, not too thin or too much over
the weight that is healthy for a particular age. We all feel
better, our bodies work better and we look better. However, I
always put the health benefits we get for keeping a healthy weight most
important. But healthy, good looks are important too.
When we look good we feel even better and are more involved
with life and life's activities.
