What Are Organic Teas?

It is simply tea grown without toxic chemicals.  They are bypassed, freeing the soil from exposure to harmful herbicides and pesticides.  Workers instead rely on substances such as compost, natural organic matter, and plants to provide the necessary ground cover and nutrients.

Weeds and insects are controlled with traditional techniques such as copr rotation, mulching.

 
*Tea Forte production facility is certified organic by IMO-Switzerland, a USDA accredited certification agent. This is an important step in the process of developing certified organic teas. However, they are still working on earning both of these certifications. In every case, they source the most naturally produced ingredients possible and work to support fair wages. Teas are expected to be certified one blend at a time as certified sources are available.
